STRAIGHT OUTTA BUSHWICK - BLOCK PARTY

Our first ever 'Beautiful Chaos' shoot in 2013 (Yay!) and such an epic day at the ultimate Hipster Skater Music Fest - Bushwick Block Party in Brooklyn, NYC. We interviewed artists and revellers at the fourth annual street party hosted by Roberta’s and Vans. This sold out, street party brought a whole new level of music, skaters, street food and food trucks – even Action Bronson was running a food truck as well as headlining the entertainment.

The host Roberta's, is now an institution and cranks pizzas out of four “ovens of doom” Best part, 10% of pie sales went to St. John’s Bread and Life, which provides meals to hungry New Yorkers. Gotta always pay it forward!

Action Bronson killed it, not only on stage or in his truck but with an impromptu rap session amongst the punters. Also performed was Travis Egedy’s electronic-pop project Pictureplane, “Detroit trap-pop” duo Jamaican Queens, regular Roberta’s party-starters Tiki Disco and a host of others across multiple stages.

Food line up was absolutely epic, along side "The Action Bronson Food Truck" were stands and trucks from Crif Dogs, the Brooklyn Star, Yuji Ramen, Red Hook Lobster, Momo Yakitori, Brooklyn Star and more,

If between the food, drink, music and prime hipster-watching—you somehow find yourself with nothing to do, check out the skate and Double Dutch demos!
